US and Ukrainian officials are expected to meet for a second day of talks in Berlin on December 15 as Washington pushes for an agreement to end Russia's war on Ukraine and Kyiv struggles to avoid a deal that would favor Moscow.

Ukraine and U.S. envoys held extended Berlin negotiations on a revised peace plan as Zelenskyy weighed potential compromises on NATO ambitions while Russian strikes and entrenched positions underscored the conflict’s complexity.

The leaders of Germany, Britain and France were among those expected to take part in the meeting of Ukraine's allies, dubbed the Coalition of the Willing, via video link.
