President Trump hailed the U.S. military after it dropped the "mother of all bombs," America's largest non-nuclear weapon, in Afghanistan on Thursday.

The Department of Defense on Friday released video of the bomb dropped by the U.S. on Thursday, nicknamed the ''Mother of All Bombs,'' on Afghanistan.

The so-called 'Mother of all bombs' was dropped on an ISIS stronghold in Afghanistan on April 13, 2017.

The US military dropped America's most powerful non-nuclear bomb on ISIS targets in Afghanistan Thursday, the first time this type of weapon has been used in battle, according to US officials.
