LANSING, MI -- A restaurant in Van Buren County sold a Powerball ticket that won a $1 million prize in the drawing held on Saturday, March 1. The ticket matched all five white numbers drawn -- 2-23-36-44-49 --to win the prize. The ticket was purchased at Big T restaurant, located at 155 Main St. in Lawton.

A Michigan Lottery player matched the winning numbers from the Saturday, March 1 drawing — 2, 23, 36, 44 and 49 — to win $1 million.

More than 615,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $150,000, the lottery said. The Powerball jackpot was last won Jan. 18, when an Oregon player hit the $329 million grand prize, lottery officials said.
