A new Margaritaville in the Galveston area takes over a beach club and RV Resort bringing major renovations including a 'Texas-sized' swimming pool.

The RV resort is about 13 miles down the beach from where Margaritaville Beach Resort Galveston will be built, at 317 E. Beach Drive in Galveston.

After three years in the making, Texas Parks and Wildlife is finally celebrating the grand opening of Galveston Island State Park's newly renovated beach side on Friday and Saturday.
