Salmon fishing has been banned temporarily in southern Puget Sound’s Marine Area 13 as the state waits for the federal government to complete its review of Puget Sound salmon fisheries.

While the weekend allows for fishing without a license, it is important to note that not all species are included. Licenses are still required for shellfish, salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, and halibut.
