A single-engine plane crash landed into a Putnam County lake Sunday afternoon after taking off from New York, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A small plane equipped with pontoons to land on water departed from the Flagler County airport and crash landed in Crescent Lake in Putnam County.

A rare metallic yellow bass was caught in Florida’s Lake Tarpon. It has a condition known as xanthism, state biologists say.
