The Denver Broncos (6-2) put together their first complete game of the season, thrashing the visiting Dallas Cowboys (3-4-1) 44-24. The Broncos remain atop the AFC West, a game ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers.

As awesome of a moment as this was for the Cowboys it was one that involved stepping back from rivalry as Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels appeared to be injured and was clearly in pain. He needed assistance getting off of the field and went to the blue medical tent.

Zach Ertz dropped the 2nd down pass to force 3rd & 6 at the 16-yard line; Jayden hit Robbie Chosen on a short pass, but the Cowboys defenders closed fast and tackled him short, forcing the 3 & out. Turpin, the return man, was tackled for a short return at his 26-yard line with 4:38 left in the first quarter.

If Dallas can get to the bye with a .500 record, they still have an outside chance of doing something in the second half of the season. Either by trade, or by just getting injured players back, they would have some avenues to improve an awful defense.
