Big waves are slamming the Southern California coast this week, with massive surf showing up on Sunday, Dec. 22, and strong swells continuing through the week.

With the high surf advisory in place in San Diego County until Christmas Day, concerns about the impacts on the natural and manmade structures along the coast remain top of mind.
