The Assassin's Creed series tells the ongoing fight between the Templars and the Assassins. The former is an organization trying to usher in the New World Order by seizing political power, while the latter is a hidden peacekeeping organization protecting humanity.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will have numerous masked enemies within the Onryo group of objectives. Each of these masked individuals will need to be tracked down and assassinated, which will involve finding out each of their true identities. During the earlier chapters of the game, the first two on Naoe’s list are the Golden Teppo, and the Wounded.
