A '60 Minutes' segment featuring interviews with deported Venezuelans has appeared online despite being pulled by executives.
The “60 Minutes” segment that CBS News’ Bari Weiss pulled from a Sunday night U.S. broadcast went public on Monday after an unedited version of Sunday’s episode mistakenly aired on the streaming platform of Canada’s Global TV, TheWrap has learned — even as the original version aired on TV screens.
“Four guards grabbed me, and they beat me until I bled until the point of agony,” one of the men interviewed by 60 Minutes said of his treatment at CECOT. “They knocked our faces against the wall. That was when they broke one of my teeth.” Alfonsi was one of many who slammed Weiss for pulling the episode.
Multiple media reports say the program was uploaded to StackTV, Global's streaming platform, though it is no longer available to watch.
