WATERBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - Five students have been arrested after a fight at Kennedy High School in Waterbury. Police say they responded at around 12:00 p.m. today.
Police arrested five students at Kennedy High School in Waterbury on Thursday after a second day in a row of fights. They believe the fight on Thursday is connected to one that led to several arrests on Wednesday.
No fatalities were reported and a person was in custody Tuesday night. Police said they 'do not believe this was a random act of violence.'

Tommy Figueroa, 31, of Waterbury was sentenced to prison after federal officials said he worked as a shift boss for a Maple Avenue drug trafficking ring.
Court records show that he was working as a shift boss for the Maple Street organization to ensure that “distributors” were selling narcotics around the clock.
