Keen-eyed fans will remember that 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home ended with Holland's Peter Parker swinging through New York City in a new suit that resembles the character's iconic costume from the comics. This newly teased suit seems like it's similar to that look, including the faint spider webbing design that's a nod to the original comics.

There's no official synopsis as of yet for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but the ending of No Way Home — and the upcoming film's title — speak to an era of newness for the character. In April 2025, Holland himself called the film a "fresh start."
