Weather warnings have been upgraded to amber for most of Scotland as Storm Floris bears down on the UK.The warning lasts from 10:00 BST on Monday through to 22:00 and warns of danger to life as damage to buildings and trees due to storm conditions is expected.

Storm Floris will bring "unseasonably strong and disruptive winds" to much of Scotland tomorrow, the Met Office says.

A severe weather warning for Storm Floris - the UK's first named storm since Storm Éowyn wreaked havoc in late January - has been upgraded to amber amid forecasts of gusts likely to reach up to 90mph in Scotland.
