SEATTLE - Some neighborhoods in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties woke up to light snow Saturday morning. A rain/snow mix is also possible this afternoon and tonight. Additional snow accumulations in the lowlands are unlikely,

Moisture begins to tapper off as the low moves east. As skies clear a bit overnight, some patchy fog will develop overnight and temperatures will drop below freezing.

After a week of snow, slush, school closures and icy conditions, Seattle is ready for a break from the white fluff.

Saturday morning is a WEATHER ALERT DAY, especially in the morning due to potentially dangerous driving conditions. There is a chance of small amounts of accumulation in the South Puget Sound early Saturday.
