A man was dead after being shot during a road rage incident in Tempe near Priest Drive and Warner Road, according to police. The Tempe Police Department first posted about the incident on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, just before 2 p.m. on July 1.

A Benton man was arrested late Tuesday in connection with a reported road rage incident on Arkansas 171 north in which he is accused of shooting another man, who he says had threatened him, in the leg.
