Manchester United have indicated to RB Leipzig they are ready to match Newcastle United ’s transfer offer for Benjamin Sesko. Sesko has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer after another impressive season in the Bundesliga.

The bid is comprised of €75m up front with a further €5m in potential add-ons, and was tabled by Newcastle in the past 24 hours.

According to talkSPORT, Leipzig are hoping and waiting for Manchester United to bid for Sesko to create competitive tension. The 13-time Premier League champions are yet to submit an official bid but remain in the race to sign the striker after holding talks with Leipzig and the player himself.
