OU men's basketball defeated OSU 85-76 Saturday at Paycom Center. The Sooners (7-3) finished the game with a 6-0 run to put away the Cowboys (9-1).

A second-half surge saw Oklahoma power past Oklahoma State 92-70 at the Paycom Center on Saturday, moving the OU coach to 7-0 against the Cowgirls since taking over the program. The No. 9 Sooners (11-1) took a five-point lead into halftime, then OU opened the second half on an 8-2 run.

Oklahoma State guard Anthony Roy grew up in Northern California without much exposure to the annual encounters between Oklahoma State and Oklahoma.

OSU’s Micah Gray led the Cowgirls with 22 points. OSU made just one of its last 10 shot attempts and had four turnovers in the final 3 minutes and 54 seconds. The Sooners outscored OSU 30-19 in the third quarter, closing the period making six of their last eight shots.
