No reason was given for the removal of Gen. Timothy D. Haugh. The far-right activist Laura Loomer had called for his ouster in a meeting with President Trump, an official said.
Gen. Timothy Haugh, who was chief of U.S. Cyber Command in addition to leading the NSA, was fired by the Trump administration Thursday night.
In a post on X, Laura Loomer, who purportedly pushed for their removal, said they have been fired for being “disloyal to President Trump.”
