The U.S. soldiers had been at the center of a recovery mission in Lithuania for nearly a week after their armored vehicle sank near the country's border with Belarus.

The seven-day search operation included hundreds of U.S. and Lithuanian troops, U.S. Navy divers, and helicopters to transport search teams.

The body of the last U.S. Army soldier who went missing last week in Lithuania has been found, ending a week-long search for the four soldiers after their vehicle sank in mud and water. The soldiers were on a mission to repair and tow a vehicle when they went missing on March 25.
