Former LSU wide receive Kyren Lacy was found dead by authorities in his car after being chased near Houston, Texas on Saturday night.

The sheriff's office in Harrison County, Texas, says former LSU receiver Kyren Lacy died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after a vehicle pursuit.

The football star’s death came after his alleged involvement in a car accident back in December that killed a 78-year-old man in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. Lacy was under investigation and facing charges of negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run and reckless operation of a vehicle.
