Twelve Houston-area teams enter the Class 6A playoffs ranked in the final edition of the Texas high school football rankings for 2025.

Ridge Point, the state's No. 3 team in Class 6A, appears to be headed for its first undefeated regular season since 2016. The Panthers have outscored their opponents by 410 points and have perhaps the most talented roster, top to bottom, in the Houston area this season.

The Summer Creek Bulldogs (8-1, 5-1) will travel to Galena Park ISD Stadium in Houston on Friday for a high-stakes Class 6A Region III District 23 showdown against the North Shore Mustangs (8-1, 6-0).
