Texas sought help from actor Glen Powell to present a surprise to walk-on linebacker Marshall Landwehr. Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian introduced a video of Powell announcing that Landwehr was being awarded a scholarship for his efforts on the field.

Marshall Landwehr is a fifth-year senior from Highland Park High School. He was surprised with a scholarship in a video message from actor Glenn Powell.
