Until Sosa's swing, a packed house didn't have much to celebrate other than the unusually warmth in South Philly.
The MLB season is long, winding, often frustrating and at times jubilant. A lot of baseball is left on the ledger ahead, but there are few (if any) complaints so far. Which makes it a little tough to single out winners and losers from a series like this — with a performance that was as flawless as baseball can get.

Edmundo Sosa might be back on the Phillies’ bench on Wednesday. He understands. It’s his job. Sosa is a bench guy. He is just one player on a 26-man roster, although he considers himself more of a sixth man in basketball than anything.
