Dillon Brooks was ejected against the Los Angeles Lakers as it was ruled he made unsportsmanlike contact with LeBron James in celebration.

Brooks was active in the previous game against the OKC Thunder when the Suns suffered a humiliating 138-89 loss in the NBA Cup quarterfinal clash. The former Memphis Grizzlies forward endured a horrible shooting night, going 4 of 16 from the floor for 16 points.
