U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman ruled that President Trump's administration cannot withhold citizenship from children born to people in the country illegally or temporarily.

U.S. President Donald Trump's order restricting birthright citizenship was blocked nationwide by a fourth court on Thursday, after a judge issued an injunction in a class action covering children born anywhere in the United States who would be affected by it.

The Trump administration is planning to quickly ask the Supreme Court to review the constitutionality of President Donald Trump’s executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship.
