Boston College offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Will Lawing is expected to join the Bears’ coaching staff in an as-yet-undetermined role, according to head coach Bill O’Brien, who spoke Tuesday via Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times.

The Chicago Bears are expected to focus on defense this offseason, and this trade idea would accomplish that goal.
