The Connecticut Sun are finalizing two deals, one to send DiJonai Carrington to Dallas and the other to trade Rebecca Allen to Chicago, a person familiar with the moves told The Associated Press on Saturday.

The Connecticut Sun have agreed to trade DiJonai Carrington and the No. 12 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft to the Dallas Wings in exchange for Jacy Sheldon and the No. 8 pick, according to Rachel Galligan.

DiJonai Carrington, the WNBA's most improved player last season, is on the move after being traded by the Sun to the Wings, sources told ESPN.

The Connecticut Sun are trading DiJonai Carrington and the No. 12 pick to the Dallas Wings for Jacy Sheldon and the No. 8 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, per Winsidr.

The Wings are reportedly set to acquire Dijonai Carrington from the Sun in a big trade following their Satou Sabally deal.

Carrington’s run with Connecticut ends after four seasons. During 2024, her first season as a starter, she churned out quite an impressive year. The two-way guard won 2024 Most Improved Player honors and made the WNBA’s All-Defensive First Team.

The Dallas Wings also hold the top pick in the upcoming WNBA Draft, where it is expected they'll select UConn's Paige Bueckers, assuming she declares for the draft.

Carrington, 27, was a restricted free agent and the Sun had the ability to match any offer sheet with another team
