Season two has cut to black — or red, in the case of this finale. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Erickson, Ben Stiller and the Lumon cast unpack all that marching, mayhem and macrodata.

Viewers will recall that Season 1 ended on Mark’s innie getting a dose of his outie’s life thanks to the Overtime Contingency and realizing that his wife Gemma, who also has an innie at Lumon named Ms. Casey, is still alive.

The director and executive producer spoke to IndieWire about that finale freeze-frame, what the finale means for Season 3, and Mark's Innie meeting his Outie: "We were definitely worried about it."
