It’s official, the James Bond franchise has found its producers in Amy Pascal and David Heyman. The duo have been tapped by Amazon MGM to steer the new Bond film, the first to be produced by someone outside the Broccoli family.

The James Bond franchise's first movie debuted in 1962, and has seen such actors as Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, and, more recently, Daniel Craig portray the iconic character. The most recent film, No Time to Die, was released in 2021.

Though it took Amazon MGM quite a while to wrest the James Bond franchise away from longtime producers Barbara Broccoli Michael G. Wilson, the studio has already found the duo’s replacements.
