CINCINNATI — The Bearcats football team landed one player on the AP All-American teams for the 2025 season. Guard Evan Tengesdahl got a nod on the third team to cap off his stellar season in the middle of Cincinnati's offense.

Redshirt junior offensive lineman Olaivavega Ioane and senior running back Kaytron Allen were recognized as All-Americans by the Associated Press on Monday. Ioane was a second-team selection, while Allen picked up third-team honors.

The place kicker is the second Rainbow Warrior in program history to be selected to the prestigious Associated Press All-America first team.

The stage is set for an epic rematch as the defending champion American Heritage Patriots (8-5) face the red-hot Jones Fightin’ Tigers (12-2) in Saturday’s FHSAA Class 4A state championship game at Florida International University in Miami.
