NORMAN, Okla. ( KFOR) — With the Alabama and Oklahoma game approaching this week, there’s also a new addition to the OU campus. ESPN put a sign in the South Oval congratulating the Sooners, and also telling fans to go “wilder than ever” on Friday.
Keenan is a stout run defender. He's a roadblock in the middle of the line with a strong base to eat up double teams. The Alabama defensive tackle enters the college playoff with three tackles for loss, two sacks and 11 run stops. The numbers may not jump off the page, but his power at the point of attack does.
An SEC defensive coordinator argued that Alabama should not be in the College Football Playoff after losing three games.

OK, fine, rant over. Maybe the second batch of first-round, on-campus games will raise the bar. We might even see a team or two play Friday or Saturday that end up going all the way to the championship game, as both Ohio State and Notre Dame did last time.
