Even at low tide you have to cross a dip with water to get to the beach. At high tide it may be a bit deep for a beach wagon. But not too deep to walk through. Didn't see any shells or …

We camped at fort desoto and loved it. We now are becoming concerned about the recent reviews stating there is a rat problem. Why? Any feed back is very welcomed. We are campers and appreciate wildlife however rats are not at the top of my cute critter list. I am hoping for assurance that it is a fluke and not that bad.

We didn’t see any either but we were only in the parking lot for the dog park and on the dog beach. We were there probably 6-8 times during January
